PTSD

PTSD and trauma symptoms affect many people who go through an overwhelming, often life-threatening experience.

But did you know that our brains are wired to cope with difficult and traumatic events that occur in our lives? Even if it doesn’t feel like it, we continuously overcome challenging and distressing events (losing your job, losing someone we love, medical intervention, etc.). So when the brain is unable to deal and cope with a specific experience, no matter how big or small, trauma focused therapy helps the brain do the job that is wired to do.

Trauma focused therapy helps reduce the intensity of emotion we feel when we remember or think about a traumatic memory, it helps us reclaim our lives by going back to doing what we love and what is important to us. Flashbacks, intrusive memories and feelings, the sense that something bad is going to happen to us again decrease clearing the path for you to take control of your life and your decisions about your life.

Having helped people to overcome PTSD and trauma for years, I would like to guide you through your journey to claim back your life from PTSD, the anxiety and worries about the future it can cause.
