Therapy for adults
Sometimes in life we may feel stuck or we may struggle to overcome challenges. Although this can be a normal part of life, if the difficulties affect your functioning in a persistent way, your ability to enjoy activities and situations you used to enjoy and your ability to relate and connect with others, therapy may help get you unstuck. Periods of important changes and transitions can be particularly challenging (relationship breakup, moving to a new home, city or country, changing jobs, etc.).
Some common difficulties adults may experience can include:
- Low mood and depression.
- Anxiety problems (including panic attacks, worries that affect your life and functioning, social anxiety, OCD, etc.)
- Anger difficulties.
- Loss of someone we were closed to.
- Interpersonal difficulties.
